Windows 10: Windows 10 installation hangs on the blue logo. All usb peripherals turns off.

So i built a new computer and it went pretty straight forward..


Until i came to install windows 10 to the ssd.


I made a previous bootable usb flash drive from MCT and i have used this before on other computers and they worked fine. But using it on my new custom built computer it would hang every time at the same place. No error messages, nothing.


The components are all new.


The strangest thing is, if i select advance setup (the screen which gives the options of safe mode, safe mode with networking etc) selecting the option of "Disable driver signature enforcement" would SOMETIMES allow me to get to the install screen.


This has worked twice now but the problem is at times if Windows was to restart it would fail to boot up again! Hanging at blue logo!


I have since tried to install it again after wiping the M.2 ssd ( there is an option to clear the data from my bios) and reinstall windows 10 but somehow the method i used previously is taking me back to the hanging blue logo.


ImI really frustrated with this and really annoyed.


Any suggestions or help is appreciated. But please, i cant log into windows so any suggestions to update drivers etc is pointless.

The BIOS update suggestion posted above by @Jegler helped me, @guhanath. I was on version 1.10 and updated to 1.90. The steps I took after that were just doing the official Windows 10 upgrade procedure.

Then the Windows 10 installation went without a hitch, and I'm no longer on Windows 7. I'm going to consider this solved, thank you @Jelger for the suggestion to update the BIOS!

Me too facing same problem as you(logo but nothing)

Main diference being mine is Gigabyte H87-D3H. Please let me know what steps you took so that I could try. I have purchased win 10 but could not use it.

I created a bootable USB to repair the error

BUT

When I insert the usb it hangs on the blue windows Logo screen, nothing appears :S
