    Windows 10 Installation Restart Loop X^X


    Recently I built my first PC! Here are the specs:

    AMD Ryzen 7 2700 CPU

    ASUS Prime X470-Pro Motherboard

    Geforce GTX 1660 Graphics Card

    2 T-Force 8GB RAM

    Seasonic GX-550 PSU
    1TB WD Blue SATA Hard Drive

    I am just getting into tech, so I am not very familiar with all of the terminology, so I apologize for that. However, I have run into a huge problem.

    When I was installing Windows 10 with a flash drive in the 3.0 slot, the power went out. The computer is fine, but when I try to boot from the drive, it gives the error:


    "The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows instillation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click 'OK' to restart the computer, and then restart instillation."

    So, I tried restarting without the USB, with the USB, and I tried booting directly from the USB, but when I boot from USB it says the media driver is missing? However when I put the USB into another computer it works fine as an installation and update tool so I am very confused, and I cannot get a straight answer. Please help!

    Dual Booting 2 x Windows 10 OS Drives (Existing Installs)


    It is uneccessary to do all of the above.
    1. Boot up Windows 10
    2. Open Disk Management and take a note of the drive letter of the other Windows 10
    3. Open Admin Command Prompt and type: bcdboot X:\Windows where X is the drive letter noted in step 2
    4. Reboot, you should have a dual boot menu.

    • Where have checked for the version of Direct x?


    I suggest you to follow the below steps and check:


    • Press Windows + R keys together.

    • Type dxdiag in the run prompt and hit enter.

    • Now check for the version of Direct x.
