Windows 10: Windows 10 Installation Stuck after Windows Logo - Need Help

Window 7 PRO on my Lenovo P50 crashed with Blue Screen of Death, so I tried restarting my machine in safe mode. It kept on hanging when loading Classpnp.sys driver. After a few online research and lack of solutions, I decided to do a fresh install of Windows 10 Home.

I bought a Windows 10 Home USB from Best Buy and facing issue during installation. Initially, Windows Boot Manager starts and I'm selecting Window 64 bit, but later after the Windows logo, nothing happens on the screen, It's just blank. I did wait for more than an hour, and also did set boot to UEFI only, but no luck. I would appreciate if anyone could help me on this issue.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The BIOS update suggestion posted above by @Jegler helped me, @guhanath. I was on version 1.10 and updated to 1.90. The steps I took after that were just doing the official Windows 10 upgrade procedure.

Then the Windows 10 installation went without a hitch, and I'm no longer on Windows 7. I'm going to consider this solved, thank you @Jelger for the suggestion to update the BIOS!

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.
