Windows 10: Windows 10 Installation

Hi, I recently got an usb 3.0 to m-sata adapter for an m.2 drive i had lying around. I decided to try Windows To Go and installed Windows 10 pro on that drive. Normally I boot from my hard drive, which is a 1TB HDD with Windows 10 Home installed on it. After I booted from the drive with Windows 10 Pro (the external drive), I wanted to access some files from the internal Windows 10 Home drive so I went into disk management and turned the disk online. After that happened the internal disk has acted very strangely. For some reason some of the installed apps on that drive don't work correctly (they either crash, freeze or some combination of the two) and the PC boots very slowly compared to before. I booted the external drive again and turned the internal drive offline just as it was before, but the problem persists. I reinstalled Windows (keeping my files and apps) twice and the problem is not better. The PC also says that it can't write to the Temp folder and I've noticed that my permissions for local folders such as Program Files have been changed and I'm asked for permission before opening those folders. I've also noticed that my Win + X menu does not work (and that bugs me more than it probably should). Any ideas as to why this may keep happening? I'm at a loss and would really not enjoy having to reinstall Windows fresh and lose all the apps and files I have (I have no major backups).

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
