Windows 10: Windows 10 IOT Enterprise LTSC 2021 21H2 extended end date, end of support, Janaury 13, 2032

As the windows 10 builds reach the end of support or retirement, Microsoft should promote, Windows 10, IOT Enterprise, LTSC, 2021, 21H2, that reaches its end of life and end of servicing on Janaury 13, 2032. This would delay, 240 million, PC's heading for the landfill. Why to promote this is that certain pc's are not compatible such as when running the pc health check with windows 11 or higher. Please answer how to differentiate between Windows Enterprise 2021 LTSC release and IoT, built 19044?

On the VLSC website, a search for "Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021" and "Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC" leads to exactly the same ISO image SW_DVD9_WIN_ENT_LTSC_2021_64BIT_Polish_MLF_X22-84446.ISO, SHA: 3C71D4B4F178A2B8AA091D367DC0CEF4C50FA355D35B1EDDDC1AF2E4FB61C438

Release dates vary LTSC: 27.10.2021, IoT: 01.08.2023

The question is relevant because, according to records at Windows 10 - release information, only the IoT edition has support until 2032 and LTSC only until 2027

Why Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 has end support longer compare to LTSC 2021

Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 has end support date 9 Jan 2029 while LTSC 2021 only until 12 Jan 2027

Thank you for your quick response, however, during the installation there is no option to select a release that would have "IoT" in the name, are only LTSC and N LTSC both installation from the ISO image of Polish and English.





After the installation, activation of the product is done with the key for the LTSC version.

In addition, on the VLSC website there is no activation key with the word "IoT" in its name.

Is there somewhere an official MS source describing these two releases of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021?

Does the "IoT" version described in many places on MS websites even exist? Or is it a regular LTSC after all? ;-)
