    Windows 10 IPv6 Connectivity No Network Access


    I can't enable IPv6 on Windows 10 even though I am able to get an IPv6 address from my Macbook and iPhone connected to the same network.

    On my wifi adapter or ethernet adapter (I tried both wired/wireless), it says "No network access". I googled and tried these steps below already but it still says the same thing and https://ipv6test.google.com/ says I don't have an IPv6 address even though when I go there w/ my Macbook and iPhone, it works fine.

    -“Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” is checked under Network Properties

    -Disabling IP Helper service,

    -Upgrading drivers

    -Network reset

    ipconfig /flushdns

    nbtstat –r

    netsh int ip reset

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

    So I thought my problem was solved, and then just now my internet stopped working again. Same problem, ipv4 connected ipv6 no network access. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Hi KumaTee,

    It could be that there is an application in your system that blocks IPv6 from having network access, or that your network settings are incorrectly configured, etc. For us to isolate the issue in IPv6 having a no network access, kindly respond to the questions
    below:

    • Have you made any significant changes to your device prior to the issue?
    • Are there any third-party antivirus applications installed on your device?
    • Have you tried restarting your modem and wireless router? This would help create a new connection to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Keep in mind that all devices that are connected to the network would be temporarily disconnected.
    • May we have a complete list of the troubleshooting steps that you have done? This is for us to know and to avoid any duplication of efforts on your end.

    IPv6 Connectivity: No network access


    That is one of my issues with Win10, its connecting to same internet as this Win7 but Win10 is connecting via IPv6 ( Internet Protocol version 6) but has no internet access. hover pointer over wifi icon and it says verifying network, no internet access.. Win7 laptop has Qualcomm wifi, Win10 has Realtek. Only way for Win 10 to connect on IPv4 is set it right near modem. even then windows does not connect to internet.
    I even went in BIOs and set network to IPv4 EUFI or what ever. where IPv4 would be the only connection and it still connects to IPv6.
