Windows 10: Windows 10 is disabling my graphic card automatically

Hello dears,


I built a new PC with Windows 10 pro and since i start to use it I noticed that it's disabling my graphic card every time i restart my PC.

my GPU is GeForce RTX 2080 and i usually use software like Lumion and Sketchup. when i render or sometimes while 3D modeling the software

stop working because it's not using my GPU. to fix that every time i have to disable then enable my GPU. once i do that everything become ok.


I'm wondering why i have always to do that although i had removed the GPU driver and install it again and I'm sure that i have the recent driver update.

The error might occur if the Graphic card is cannot update the driver automatically.

I suggest you to update the graphic card manually by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
• Expand Display Driver from the list.
• Right click on the Graphic driver and select
  update driver software.

Also, can download the latest version of the graphic card from the manufacturer website.

graphics card problems

Hi,

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

Disabled Graphics Card Drivers

Hey, recently my graphics card drivers have been automatically disabled due to an issue that it doesn't list (windows 10), I've tried quite a lot to re enable them but nothing has seemed to work, I've tried updating the drivers, rolling back the drivers, reinstalling them and even a complete wipe and re installation of windows 10, this worked for about a day but when I came back in the morning the graphics drivers had been disabled again. The problem seems to occur when windows tries to update itself however I'm not sure which update it is and it doesn't appear to show up in the update history. The graphics card is an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 Ti. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
