    Windows 10 is not recognizing my JVC camcorder


    I have a JVC camcorder with video just taken. When I plug the cable into the USB port, it says Windows doesn't recognize the device. The video is of a family member at a nursing home. I really would like to upload it and send it to other relatives and family members. I've been working at getting it to upload for hours and it won't.     JVC GRDA30U camcorder can't download to Windows 10 pc

    How do I get my Windows 10 pc to recognize my JVC GRDA30U camcorder? so I can download the videos from it to the pc? I have both firewire and usb cords, but it does nothing when I turn it on. ONCE I got Windows popup warning saying something to the effect
    that Windows did not recognize the device. My device manager shows the camcorder under devices, and I install legacy drivers and the JVC drivers, but still nothing!

    JVC camcorder media browser stopped working

    I have a JVC Camcorder model GZ-E305 BAA.

    I have downloaded and using Windows 10.

    I use Pixela Everio Media Browser 4, version 4.00.231 to backup/download files off the Camcorder.

    Today, I went to download some files and received the following message --

    "media browser.exe has stopped working". Windows is searching for a solution.

    No solutions forthcoming, so I am seeking help
