My Windows 10 PC no longer detects my Ugreen SD card reader and Baseus 8 in 1 HUB. These are the only two devices that are not working on my computer. They don’t even appear in the Device Manager. What should I do? The devices only work on macOS now and no longer function on Windows. I can't figure out the issue.

USB stick previously used as a boot stick for Killdisk not recognized

    Try method 2 under Windows 7 8 10 here:
Free to Remove Readonly Attribute in Windows

Method 2: Clear readonly status with Diskpart

In Windows 10, 8, 7 OS, you are also able to run Diskpart in Command Prompt to clear read-only attribute on any partition on your computer. You can follow the tutorial below:

Step 1. Open Command Line and type Diskpart
    Step 2. Type list disk
Step 3. Type select disk (disk number)
Step 4. Type attributes disk clear readonly

USB devices not recognized on windows 10.

    Hi Arul_D,

I have a similar Windows 10 issue that you may be able to help me to resolve.

When previously running Windows 7 on my laptop (a Sony VPCSE17GG with built-in Bluetooth® standard Ver. 3.0 + HS) my Bluetooth keyboard (Apple Wireless Model A1314) was happily paired and functioned properly. It now no longer connects, despite the fact that
AWK (Apple Wireless Keyboard) is still listed in the "Devices and Printers" folder and, according to the 'status' (information which appears at the bottom of the window when a device icon is selected) is "paired" - when in fact it isn not.

When I try to add it as a device, the computer's Bluetooth does not detect the device: "No devices found".

I tried following the steps you suggested to "Uninstall and reinstall all USB controllers", however the AWK does not show up in the list of devices.

I ran the troubleshooting routine for the laptop and restarted (twice) without any success.

I have double-checked that the AWK functions properly by pairing it with my iPad 2, and it works fine.

Am I missing something? Any guidance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Some USB Devices not recognized in Windows 10

Hi have Windows 10 Pro insider preview 10532 64bit Pro Intel i7 desktop PC.

I have multiple USB devices connected, USB 3 & 2. The USB HDD is working however my Samsung phone and kindle are no longer being recognized. The steps followed so far:

    • Uninstalled all USB devices in device manager including controllers
    • Flashed BIOS to latest version
    • Updated USB drivers for the devices from manufacturers sites
    • Tried new USB cables

Please note: both devices are recognized by my Windows 10 Lenovo laptop.

I really don't want to fresh install, please suggest any diagnostics I can try.

    Thanks
