    Hello. I recently upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and there is such a drastic change in performance. Even live tiles on the start menu is absolutely slow. Like, everything that I do is so laggy. I already have the latest updates, all the drivers are installed and I just don't know what's the issue. My laptop, despite being old and not having the greatest specs, still meet Windows 10's minimum requirements so I really don't know what to do. Windows 8.1 runs fine but Windows 10 dosen't. So, I rolled back for now but I really want to use Windows 10.

    windows 10 slow boot

    I was having a slow boot issue on my Windows 7 install a little while back. It would take about 30 - 40 extra seconds to boot up for whatever reason.

    I would try following these steps, while this didn't solve my issue, it did increase Read/Write to where it should be.

    In the end, I had to reinstall my Windows 7 entirely to fix the booting issue. It was taking around 35 seconds to boot, and after the fresh install it takes about 7 seconds to boot.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
