Windows 10: Windows 10 is stopping me from updating to the May 2020 version.

So yesterday I tried updating my laptop (Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition) to the May 2020 update of Windows 10 using Windows Update Assistant. Everything was going smooth until the installation process, that's when a new Window popped up called 'Windows 10 Setup' and it started "Checking for updates" after which it displayed the message that my laptop was still not eligible to get the update and Windows Update Assistant displayed an error. Has someone else encountered a similar issue? Please help me understand more on this topic.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Windows 10 Tweaks

That doesn't stop windows update from grabbing them on next run, at least it didn't back in the RTM days. It simply stops a secondary process from installing them immediately.
