Windows 10: Windows 10 is turning down brightness of my screen without my permission

Why is windows automatically turn down screen brightness. I have 3 screens in my setup and this happens for both my thinkvision screens but not my 3rd screen.

Some computers can let Windows automatically adjust screen brightness based on the current lighting conditions.

To manually adjust the screen brightness, we suggest following these troubleshooting steps:

• Click Start, then select Settings.
• Choose System, then select Display.
• Under Brightness and color, move the Change brightness slider to adjust the brightness.

Windows 10 permissions...

How is the NAS on windows 10 Pro? Is it software or a share? Did you check ntfs vs share permissions?
