Windows 10: Windows 10 isnt recognizing my Android device.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A11, and I am running the most recent version of windows, when I plug in my phone, it says theres an error, and it's listed as Unknown USB Device Device Descriptor Request Failed in the device manager, ive been running through fixes for like the past two hours, I plugged my phone into my laptop, and it works just fine, so I know its a problem with my computer. I'm pulling my hair out here! any help is appreciated!also, the device status is listed as "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Code 43" and the error code in the Events list

We appreciate your effort on this. We understand that when you connect your Android device to the computer it is not recognized, we will look into this for you.



As per the description, the Android device only charges when you connect it to the computer. Hence, we would like to know if you see any Unknown device in Device Manager. Refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Press Windows key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. In Device Manager window, check if there is a section of
   Unknown device.
   
3. If you see Unknown device, right click on it and select
   Update Device.
   
4. If prompted, restart the computer.
   

I would also suggest you to follow the steps from the article Error:
“USB Device not recognized” when you try to access a USB external hard drive except Method 2 and see if that makes any difference.

Hi Mohamad,

This issue may have something to do with the driver. We recommend that you update the driver by following these steps:

• Connect your Android device to your computer
• Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  
• Locate your Android device.
  
• Right click the device and select Update Driver Software.
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Let us know how it goes.

For thouse who CAN help...:I can't enter adb (device not recognized), can't flash using stock recovery (don't really know the steps and stuck at triage and dead android when in recovery),
