    Have you tried to download an ISO file from Microsoft Media Creation Tool? And it took too long to download? Well there is a solution for that.


    It could be that your ISP could be blocking the download. Your ISP knows what you search up on the web and they can block specific websites.


    A solution to this is to use a VPN. VPN allows you to create a secure connection to another network over the Internet and will help you bypass your ISP restrictions.


    Alternatively, you may use Google DNS https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns

    Recently, I was having trouble with this and tried to research my question. Apparently none of them seems to have helped until I had an idea to turn on VPN.


    Since none of the questions on Microsoft forums have helped me resolve the ISO problem, I thought I would make this post just to tell others if they manage to get stuck too.

    Finding .IMG or .ISO file in Windows 8.1 Pro download

    Hey guys,

    In preparation for my new PC I downloaded Windows 8.1 Pro from Dreamspark, and I wanted to burn it to a DVD, so I can install it on the new PC.
    However, in the downloaded files I can't find a .IMG or .ISO file anywhere. I understood that the .IMG file is the one you need to burn to the DVD?

    Any suggestions?
