Windows 10: Windows 10 iso installation errors

I'm having exactly the same problem as this post from this sub but the comment doesn't help : Windows10

Windows 10 ISO disk.

I was about to install the Version Windows 10 ISO, to my laptop that has Windows 10 Preview but when I booted the laptop up, I received an error message of winload.exe ERROR MESSAGE: 0xc0000605.

How can I install the Windows 10.iso into my laptop now. ?

 

Windows 10 bootrec /fixboot access is denied

I had the same issue with the command Bootrec /Fixboot "Access is denied",

This only happens with Windows 10 1709 install media.

I tried the same command with Windows 10 1703 install media and do not get the error "Access is denied".

This looks like an error with the install media for Windows 10 1709

Windows 10 Endless "Hi There" Loop. Need help. • r/Windows10


It's an infinite loop with an infinite loop. I'm trying to reinstall a fresh windows due to reason but it gets stuck as the same loop above. So I turned it off and on (suggested from the site) but then defaultuser0 appeared and another site recommend to remove files which I did but it just went back to same loop. It's an endless loop.


I have the installation (from Microsoft site) on a USB drive. I can't put it up there (usb) again due to my mom won't let me use her computer for this again. She's paranoid about these things and was annoyed about how long it takes so bugging her to do it again.


I also tried using safe mode to register a new user but when using safe mode...let me point out my keyboard doesn't work well so I have a usb one....windows wouldn't let me type from either keyboard. It recognized my usb mouse though.




Is there any way to get windows working again? I need to have a 2-4 page script prepared for my senior Theater Arts class by Monday. It's for the final and help would be nice.

How are you doing the install of Windows 10? Are you booting a flash drive?

I ran the .exe from another pc with windows (don't have access to anymore) that put the windows install files and successfully went through the installation problem but I'm stuck on this "wait a moment loop" that loads forever and if I shutdown during the process, i get a defaultuser0 account that I can't access. Accessing windows thru safe mode doesn't recognize my usb keyboard. I'm using a hp touchsmart 15 laptop with a broken keyboard (why I'm using a uab one)

 

Sorry but I don't understand what this means. What exe? Do you mean setup.exe? If so were you trying to install this over your local internal network? If so that won't work. You need to create install media which in your case would have to be a USB Flash drive.

Follow this tutorial: Windows 10 - Clean Install

Step 1 of the tutorial links you to another tutorial that tells you how to download the files and create a flash drive to install from.
1. If you have not already, you will need to create a bootable Windows 10 installation USB.

Once you have that, continue with step 2. That should get you going again.

 

Noooo, I already got the usb drive and installed windows through the setup. Right after installation, i got a blue background, loading screen that asked me to wait a moment but If i shutdown during the process, i get a defaultuser0 account and I can't enter safe mode cause it just loads the normal setup.

It's an endless loop. The setup.exe i was referring to was the file to put files on my usb.

 

??? I still don't know what that means, sorry. I'm not usually this dense.

1. You create the flash drive from the ISO.
2. You boot the flash drive.
3. When allowed, you delete all partitions on the drive you are installing to then cliuck Next. The install will create the partitions it needs. You answer questions as needed. When asked for a key, you click on I dont' have a key of skip, which ever is available. Windows 10 will activate automatically when the install completes.

Are you doing something different? If so, please explain.

 

It didn't ask me for a key though (I have one though). Everything else seems right.

So where are you now? What is the status of your PC? Were you able to install Windows 10?

Open Control Panel, System. What does it show under Activation? Should look like this:

 

You have a laptop with a broken keyboard, this not a good news.

Did you succeed with the clean install? If yes and the problem is that it boot into a spinning wheel, then redo the clean install.

If an install does not get you to a working desktop, then the install has failed.

 

Don't worry, I got a working usb keyboard.

Anywho, I can't get to point where Cortina appears (Step 15). After installing, it restarts and then a wait a moment loop comes and it's been like that overnight.

Also didn't ask me for a key, just went straight for the agreement.

 

If Win 10 has previously been installed on this PC then it has a digital license stored on the Microsoft Servers so will not ask you for a key.

You get through this screen, all the way through Finishing up?





Power off the PC using the power button (press and hold). Wait till it completely turns off, wait a few more seconds then turn it back on again. What happens?
