    Windows 10 just restarted randomly without warning. What caused the restart?


    My computer just randomly restarted itself. My monitors went black and then eventually Windows restarted. I have no idea what to look at in "Event Viewer" to figure out what caused it. This has happened before but I can't pinpoint any specific thing that might have triggered it...

    Can anyone help me solve the mystery?

    Pc restarts randomly

    I've got a problem with my pc, it restarts randomly without any bsod, I get event 41 only. Can it be caused by bus speed spikes? Here are some I saw:

    As you can see the cpu multiplier is set to 40. The bus looks like raising close to 103MHz, it doesn't seem ok.

    Here's the setup:
    PSU: Corsair VS 450W
    MOBO: MSI H81M-P33
    CPU: Pentium G3258 @4ghz 1.2V
    RAM: Crucial 8GB 1600MHz CL11
    GPU: Gigabyte GTX950
    HDD: Samsung SP2504C
    ODD: Asus DRW-24F1ST
    Windows 10 64-bit

    It's crazy because I can run world of tanks and it will restart over and over, then I would run gta 5 and it will be fine.

    Random shut down and restart??

    Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
    E220@2.406hz
    2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
    Windows xp

    Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused Windows 10 just restarted randomly without warning.     One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

    Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?

    Windows 10 restarts randomly without warning

    Ever since we upgraded to Microsoft 10 (Home) in April we've had the system randomly stop and restart at least once a day. This is increasingly frustrating when working and gaming. There is no warning, it has nothing to do with updates.

    I've tried to follow the advice of the many many other people who have had this problem, but as I no longer have our Windows 7 installation disk, we can't go back. I like Windows 10, I just want it to WORK.

    I'm not a developer and I don't know what BIOS is, but if someone has some simple steps or advice for me, I'd be grateful.
