    A bit of a strange issue which I'm also working on with Kaspersky. I'm running Windows 10 and have Kaspersky 2018. When I go to "Control Panel - System & Security - Security & Maintenance -Program Compatibility Troubleshooter - Test compatibility settings" the system tells me that: "Setting applied to Kaspersky Internet Security, Windows compatibility mode: Windows 8"; but I'm running Windows 10.


    Kasperky works just fine; no error messages are ever present, but I did have to delete another security package in its entirety to make sure there were no conflicts.


    So far the Kaspersky folks do not believe that the issue is on their side, but they are still working it. Any thoughts on the Microsoft side? Why would Windows 8 show up vs. Windows 10 for compatibility?
