Windows 10: Windows 10 Keeps changing the turn off display setting

Ok so I keep changing my setting in power settings to never turn off my display and never go to sleep. This is a desktop. I have done a bunch of research online and I can't find anything that helps. I really don't want to have to re-install windows, but IDK what else to do. I have tried to make my own power plan and that doesn't work, I have tried some commands via CMD and no luck. Whenever I restart my computer the settings change again but only for this one thing. I have done a malware scan and it isn't malware, but I am just honestly stumped please someone help with this

Display resolution keeps changing

Hi Rick,

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

Display does not turn off when pc is idle

Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
