Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps crashong

Over the last few months, my 2 yr old HP gas been randomly crashing. I think its related to Windows 10 or a certain update bc it worked like a dream before this started happening. Normally it will do an update and then maybe a week or so later it will say it is repairing C Drive. Its happened like 4 times. I know a little bit about computers and have gotten it back working each time, but last time I did a complete factory reset and it's doing it again today. It will work for a few weeks and then mess up.

It is a 2 1/2 yr old comp....no massive files.

The only program I downloaded after factory reset was Cricut.

I have McAfee and run regular scans that are clean.

I am tired of having to run restores and stuff on it and I don't have the money to bring it to Geek Squad or something every time this happens :

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
