Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps disconnecting from wifi when no internet access

I can barely use Windows 10 with wifi controlled devices things such as wifi controlled audio mixers, where they use their own wifi hotspot. Because they use their own wifi hotspot and don't have access to the internet, there of course isn't any actual internet access, but Windows is really stubburn and insists on disconnecting and would rather be connected to nothing than to be connected to my audio mixer. This makes using Windows 10 for controlling the audio mixer really annoying and unreliable, because I need to constantly connect back, and really not something which I find acceptable to

Windows 10 Wifi keeps disconnecting after Spring update

Hello there.

After I updated my PC with the latest patch, my wifi is horrible. It keeps dropping the internet connection every 10 minutes or so and the access to internet is cut off for 10 - 20 secs and then comes back. Really annoying.

(I tried updating my wifi adapter, internet adapter on the Device manage, also the easy step turn off and on the router and didn't solve my issue)

• Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Are you able to connect through wired connection?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
• Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.
