Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps disconnecting from wifi when there is no internet access

I use my android smartphone as wifi hotspot for my laptop and sometimes due to a network issue my data connection disconnects for a second or two and quickly reconnects,windows 10 detects this and automatically disconnects from wifi since there is no internet access and i have to manually connect again and again which is annoying,is there a setting so that windows does not disconnect from wifi even when there is no internet access,I seached on google and all but could not find anything,it would be a huge help if anyone could answer

Windows 10 Wifi keeps disconnecting after Spring update

Hello there.

After I updated my PC with the latest patch, my wifi is horrible. It keeps dropping the internet connection every 10 minutes or so and the access to internet is cut off for 10 - 20 secs and then comes back. Really annoying.

(I tried updating my wifi adapter, internet adapter on the Device manage, also the easy step turn off and on the router and didn't solve my issue)

• Do you get any error message when the internet disconnects?
• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• Are you able to connect through wired connection?

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the internet troubleshooter as below and check if it helps.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Once the window open click on View All located on the left navigation pane.
• Locate and select Internet Connection and run the in build troubleshooter.

Method 2: I suggest you to follow the steps from the below article
