Windows 10: windows 10 keeps failing to install cumulative updates

this actually happened to me a few weeks ago for the 2021-02 cumulative update, it gave an error and now but i didnt bother fixing it cause i got scared tampering with stuff in my laptop,theres a new 2021-03 cumulative update, i tried it and the same error still happens, how do i fix this

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
