Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps freezing

Hello. So when I was on the Microsoft Store app looking for something to download. When I found the app I wanted to download I clicked install and the Microsoft Store app freezes. And then I wanted to look if there’s a new update for Windows 10 and when I press the button the update and security button the Settings app freezes. If someone out there can help me with this that would be awesome!
