Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps freezing

A few years ago, my laptop with Windows 10 started freezing and it continues to do so. A few minutes after I open it, it freezes and the only way to fix it is to force reboot. Any audio turns into a buzzing sound. I reinstalled Windows yesterday, hoping that it would be fixed, but the error is still the same. Safe mode seems to be working perfectly, though, and so does using Linux. Does anyone know what could be going wrong?

Windows keeps freezing up

• When does Windows 10 hangs/freezes? Is it after logging in to Windows? Or is it when you are using an application?
• Are there any third-party applications installed on your computer?
• Did you upgrade to Windows 10 from a previous version of Windows? If yes, which version of Windows was previously installed on your computer?
