Windows 10: Windows 10 Keeps Getting Corrupted

Hi,I have HP Pavilion 15 - CC056TX notebook. Some months ago, its dedicated Nvidia Geforce 940mx 4gb got some problems and could not get detected in device manager. I think i shorted an IC while cleaning.Now, the thing is laptop worked fine and operated normally without the GPU as it has an integrated Intel HD 620.The problem starts as windows defender keeps removing apps and files from windows and original programs. Programs keep crashing after some time, like 10 mins after restart or if they crashed recently then if I open them they crash at startup.I reinstalled windows several times and ev

HDD keeps getting corrupted

it sounds like windows is corrupted by a spastic hard drive not reading properly. there could be many causes of this but the only fix you can do is buy a new drive.

i suggest you do a complete format of the entire 160gb drive then partition as desired and install windows fresh.

if that does it then it was just corrupted data but if it still acts up then toss the drive, its screwed

worse case, you just use the 320gb drive for everything.

This error message means the System File Checker (SFC) is not successful in fixing errors. We suggest booting into

Once done, you may run the SFC again. Kindly follow the instructions below:

• Open Command Prompt window and type sfc/scannow, then press
  Enter.
• Locate %WinDir%\WinSxS\Temp, please ensure
  PendingDeletes and PendingRenames folders exist. (These folders can help if you encountered a problem with your start-up programs.)

Proceed with running DISM Tool after running the SFC. DISM helps find component store corruptions and fixes them. Please check the steps below:

• Open Command Prompt.
• Type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press
  Enter.
