Windows 10: Windows 10 keeps logging me into "TEMP" user

One day my computer froze during a gaming session, so I had to restart.


After doing so I noticed that the documents, pictures, music, settings, Google bookmarks, etc no longer existed, as if I had logged into a guest account.


I had typed in the password and signed into my user as normal.


I went into C and found that all the files remained, but under my name JUSTIN.


I created a new document on my desktop and noticed it appeared in the TEMP folder.


How do I make the computer use the files of JUSTIN instead of TEMP?

cannot undelete the temp user profile - window 10

on 3/17 i accidentally deleted the user bak file in the profile list in registry. I have windows 10.

Now when i log in the compute rit is always on a temp user accoun tacting as the administrator.

All my files are on the computer but they don't show up on the screen because i am logged in temp user account.


my user id is my name. when you log in it keeps loggin in as TEMP.AgnesDonnadieu.000.001.002 TEMP.AgnesDonnadieu.000.001.002.003 or 004

when you go to profile list it shows one file ending with 1000

and profileimagepath shows C:\Users\and my name twice with a period in between and ending by 000 when it should be just my name.

I don't want to restore files i just want to know how I can restore my normal user profile like this when i log in i can see all my files the way they were before.

I am not a developer so please give me simple step by step instructions.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

As you may already know, Windows 10 (as well as Windows 8) allow you to log in with a valid Microsoft account, instead of creating a local account that only works on your machine. However, you may prefer to keep a local account for privacy reasons. If you do, though, some Windows 10 features—like Cortana—may not work. Despite the default behavior, the Windows 10 Store is not one of them. You can still log in to your Microsoft account for just the Store without switching to a full Microsoft account. The process, however, is not terribly obvious. To do so, follow these steps:

• Launch the Store from your Start menu.
• Click the user icon next to the search box.
• Click “Sign-in” from the menu that appears.
• Choose “Microsoft account” and log in like normal.
• When the “Make it yours” box appears do not enter your password. Instead, click “Sign in to just this app instead.”

I would suggest you to delete all the user account apart from the one which you are able to log in with Admin rights. Install all pending Windows and driver updates.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience. Follow the steps below to create new user account and check if that helps.

• Press “Windows Key + R".
• Type “netplwiz”.
• Click on Add and follow the onscreen instructions.
