    Windows 10 Keyboard locked letters


    I have being searching forever and I can't find the answer in any forum.I have a very odd problem: Sometimes the keyboard does not allow to type any letter. The strange thing is that I can still use all the shortcuts, like alt+tab, ctrl+c, ctrl+v, etc. But does not allow me to type anywhere.The problem is always solved when restarting the machine, but of course it is very annoying.It feels like I type a strange shortcut by accident which prevents the keyboard from typing, but I can't find which one is it.Anyone had the same issue?     Locked letters on keyboard

    i am unable to log in to my computer as the letters on the keyboard are locked. The figure keys are ok. I am using Windows 10

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hi Neil thanks for your suggestion. I tried it but the on screen was also blocked. I also connected another keyboard & the numbers were locked on this one too.
