Windows 10: Windows 10 L2TP VPN not working regardless of what i do, windows 10 pro

it seems that the solution that I've used many times with the registry is now obsolete, and Microsoft has introduced another problem..

VPN On Windows 8

Has anybody been able to get VPN (L2TP shared key access) working on Windows 8? I cannot get it to work on a coworker's computer at all. We have tried multiple things that I've found online, but none of the fixes appear to work, and there isn't a concrete fix or answer to the problem. Basically it just won't connect at all. It always ends in error code 809. This is Windows 8 Pro x64 that shipped on a Dell laptop. The VPN works perfectly on a Windows 7 machine (multiple ones).

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 10 Pro 1903 l2tp/ipsec psk vpn not working

Hello everyone,

after the upgrade to 1903, my vpn is not working anymore, the popup for user login is not showed and it remains in "connecting" state.

The vpn is an l2tp/ipsec with preshared key, using the built-in vpn client.

I don't see packets coming on vpn server side.

On both updated laptops the behavior is the same, on not updated computers the vpn is working fine.

Someone is having the same problem?

Someone has suggestions on how to solve it?
