Windows 10: Windows 10 lags games

Hi,


I updated windows 8.1 to windows 10 and now i have low fps in every game, even in minecraft. Is it normal when every game laags. Before i had 60+ fps in gtav but now i have 40-30 fps. What can i do to fix this lag

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• What card game are you having issues with?
• Is the issue the same with other games?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far to resolve the issue?

Random lag spikes

Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Windows 10 games lagging

I had minimal FPS around 20 and average around 30-40 FPS in Metro: Last Light Redux. All newer games lagging (DiRT 4...). I have GeForce GTX 970 and Intel Core i5. Is this because Windows 10? In CS:GO i don't have this problem. GTA 5 also works normally but many other new games lagging.
