  1. Windows 10 laptop cannot connect to WPA PSK Wi-Fi network.

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook A555 laptop with Windows 10 Pro 1909 18363.418 installed. The laptop hasIntel Wireless-N 7265 Wi-Fi card. There are two Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro phones in my house and both of them have mobile hotspot enabled. The hotspot is secured by a WPA PSK key. To one device, the laptop connects without any issues. But to make it connect to the other, I fail. When trying to connect, it shows "Connecting" for a few minutes and then "Can't connect to this network."

    What I already tried:

    1. Manually adding the network from Windows settings.

    2. Manually adding the network from Windows Control Panel.

Note: In both cases, I set the security type as WPA Personal AES because WPA PSK is not present as an option.

    3. Troubleshooting everything related to wireless networks.

Where am I going wrong? Is it an issue with the phone or the laptop? Can it be solved?

Please help me out because I think now I am out of my field of knowledge.

    :)

Windows 10 stop automatically connecting to random new wi-fi networks

    Hi,

I have searched a lot, but all the tutorials I found only explained how to not connect automatically to a known wi-fi network or how to disable wi-fi sense... but this is not what I am looking for...

    PROBLEM:

    • When my laptop (Windows 10 Pro X64) is not connected to a network and the wireless adapter is on, it will automatically connect to any random new unsecured wi-fi network... The only way I have now to avoid this is to disable my wi-fi adapter.

UNUSEFUL TUTORIALS I FOUND ON THE INTERNET:

    • How to manually uncheck the option for a particular wi-fi network not to connect automatically in Network Properties. This is not what I am looking for. This would suggest that everytime I power my computer. I would have to manually go through all the available wi-fi networks and unclick them all...
    • How to disable Wi-Fi Sense. This is not useful, because I don't even have a Wi-Fi sense option in my computer where the tutorials say it should be.

    EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:

    • I am looking for an option to tell my computer to stop connecting randomly to unknown wi-fi networks like an hyperactive, reckless idiot.

    PERSONAL COMMENT:

    • Honestly, why would any respectable company think that it could be somewhat wise or secure to do this... Anyone's computer could just randomly connect to any hacker's wi-fi network without the user even knowing it...

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Windows 10 laptop cannot connect to WPA PSK Wi-Fi network.

    E52: cna't connect to Wi-Fi (WPA-PSK/TKIP)

    I can't connect to my Wi-Fi router.

It is ASUS wl500gP with broadcom Wi-Fi module.

It was set to support any b/g device. Auto b/g + 54G Protection is set.

Sec.mode is WPA-Personal. WPA is TKIP. WEP is 128 bits.

Passphrase is set (afaik most OSes doesn't support passphrases for WEP)

    WEP keys 1-4 are set.

    WEP Pre-Shared key is set.

Radio chanel is #9 (all my PDA and notebooks work with it)

    SSID is set and open

I can see my router in Wi-Fi list of networks.

    I select my network,

    enter my Pre-Shared key.

The mobile starts to login... and fails like there's no WLAN network.
