  1. Windows 10 Laptop Disables Internet By Itself

Hello, I am posting because my laptop running Windows 10 keeps disabling the internet on its own. I have a great wifi signal and my router works fine. My other devices are connected just fine. For some reason, the laptop stops recognizing any connection. If I try to disconnect and reconnect to the wifi, which worked in the past, the option to reconnect will be greyed out. It will then tell me there are no connections available. If I turn off the wifi, the option to turn it back on will be greyed out. Any attempt to open the network and internet settings page does nothing. I am at a loss. The laptop and windows 10 and all the drivers are fully up to date. Windows troubleshooter will tell me there is a driver issue, but only when it is doing this error. If i restart the laptop, the internet works fine for awhile and I will check for updates or issues and theres never any issue with the driver then. I run the free version of malwarebytes consistently and it always comes up clean so I dont think its a virus. Any help or advice is appreciated.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Disabling laptop keyboard

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

As per the description. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I suggest you follow the steps below and check if that helps:

    • Press Windows + X and select
      Device Manager
      from the list.
    • Find Keyboards in the list of devices and click the arrow to expand it.
    • Right-click on the internal keyboard and click Disable. If there is no Disable option listed, click
      Uninstall.
    • Click File>Exit. Your laptop’s internal keyboard should now be disabled.
Note: If you had to choose Uninstall instead of Disable in step 4, the keyboard will be automatically detected and re-installed if you ever have the Device Manager scan for new hardware for some reason. If that happens you’ll need to repeat this procedure
in order to uninstall it again.

Hope the information helps. Please let us know if the issue persist and we will be happy to assist you further.

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?

Windows 10 Laptop Disables Internet By Itself wie1.png

Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
