    Windows 10 laptop does not wake up from sleep mode. Cannot get laptop to turn on at all.


    Windows 10 laptop will not reply or respond to anything. Tried holding down power key for 15 seconds to do a hard reboot, but no luck. Since computer screen is black and laptop is not responding, how can I get it to restart? I have disconnected all peripherals including power, then plugged power back in. Orange light comes on steady. Nothing on screen and no response from keyboard.

    Restart when waking laptop from sleep mode


    When I wake my HP laptop from sleep mode, it says there is a problem and needs to restart. Then it restarts. It didn't do this until I upgraded to Windows 10. Anyone else have this problem or have suggestions on how to fix it? Thank you for any assistance.

    HDD turns on when laptop switches to sleep mode

    I have a laptop with SSD and HDD. Windows 10 is installed on SSD.

    When the HDD is not used for some time it turns off and after that when I put the laptop into sleep mode it turns on only to turn off again. Is there a way to stop such behaviour ?

    I also wonder is it possible not to turn on HDD when laptop wakes up. I use this HDD
    only for storage and I rarely make any changes on it.
