    Windows 10 Laptop m6-k010dx suddenly not functional


    Hello,


    My laptop was working great and then within the span of 1 day, became completely unusable. It was running great, then froze hard and I had to do a power chop to restart it. It took some time to boot up, then ran normally. The issue happened again and I, again, only had one course of action. The thing began to run slower and slower and the issue happened several more times; each time the laptop ran slower to the point where it would sometimes not be able to load the first screen where I type in my password to sign in. If it got past that screen, it would freeze up shortly after loading the desktop. Here is the product information:

    Things I've tried:

    -resetting the computer. It got to various percents (11%, 35%) before a message came up saying that "something went wrong", no changes were made, and that everything would be reverted to normal.

    -installing windows 10 again with the media creation tool. windows successfully restarted and was working like new for an hour but once I reinstalled a lot of the software I had before and ran an update, it began to freeze just like before. I reinstalled it again and after the second time, it ran badly from the start but now consistently gets past the password screen to freeze up at the desktop.


    When I press f2 on startup and run a diagnostic, I get this

    What is the problem? What can I do to solve it?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
