Windows 10: Windows 10 laptop sees my iPhone hotspot but won't connect to it!

Many people have had the problem of not being able to connect their Windows 10 PC to their iPhone hotspot, but mine is a little unique. My Dell laptop sees my hotspot just fine, but it won't connect to it. At the bottom of the list of possible networks is a highlighted box which shows "Mobile Hotspot", but when I try to connect to the hotspot, that box grays out, and I get a message saying "Can't connect to this network". I have searched most every place for an answer and have tried about every suggestion, but no one has provided the right answer to my problem. I have no problem connecting

Yes I am using a genuine apple cable and tried your method but still having issues . The device connects and all looks fine for a few minutes then it drops connection then reconnects and repeats this behaviour so I've gave up .see attached images.



Thanks for your help , I think I'm going to get a Samsung .
