Windows 10: Windows 10 laptop shuts down immedietly after the power cable is unplugged.

Hi, I've looked through other posts but didn't find a resolution. Recently I removed the NVMe SSD to examine it for an upgrade, reinstalled it then began experiencing the following behavior. Problem: My laptop immediately shuts down when the power cable is unplugged. It has been observed that sometimes the laptop will try to start without the power cable but not always. Attempted Troubleshooting: I've tried booting in Safe Mode with the power cable plugged in, It can get into the Windows 10 desktop. Then unplug the cable. But shuts down in about 60 seconds. Laptop screen blacks outs for a second when plugging an unplugging power cable

Method 1

Follow these steps to run the Windows in built troubleshooter:

a) Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

b) Click on Troubleshooting
tab.

c) Click on view all option on the upper left corner.

d) Select the Power option from the list.

e) Click Next to run the Troubleshooter.

Method 2

Reset the power option settings in Windows. Follow the below steps.

1. Press Windows key + X from the keyboard.

2. Choose Command prompt from the context menu.

3. In the command prompt, type powercfg –restoredefaultschemes
and press Enter.

4. Exit command prompt.

Windows 10 turns off abruptly whenever AC power cable is unplugged

I have 2 problems.

1. Whenever I unplug my power cable, or when there is a power failure, Windows immediately shuts down.
   
2. Unable to work without a connected power supply. If I try to turn on my computer without power supply (only with battery), Windows tries to boot, but the display turns black and shuts down.
   

The model is Dell Inspiron N4050. I have checked my battery. It is fine.

 

Laptop own power cable not recognized

my laptop stopped recognizing its own power cable - the screen is dimmed and laptop is on power saver! When I unplug the cable and plug it again it seems to work at first, the screen lights up but it's only for a few seconds - it gives me runtime error notification (the one like you get when unplugging power cable) and the screen dims down. It's interesting that same laptop works normally with other laptop's power cable. I got some bugs with Windows 10 creator's update?
