Windows 10: windows 10 laptop shuts down without any error or notice

this problem came into existence since yesterday. I switched on my acer laptop just fine and opened a Microsoft word document that I was supposed to work on. all of a sudden it shut down. I remembered charging my pc to 100% so it must have been around 70-80% before it shut down completely. this happened like 3-4 times and I decided to plug in and work....to my amazement it didn't shut down impromptu. today, I switched it on and after about 30 minutes of being idle it shut down again. It occurred to me that it might be some overheating issue so I also started using that laptop cooler/fan.the pr

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Kasperskys shutting itself off

I awoke this morning to a error message saying that kasperskys has encounter a error and shuts off, then I restart and about 10 mins later does it again. any suggestions?
