  1. Windows 10 latest build, driver bug causing device manager to refresh and will randomly...

Hi there,I'm trying to report a driver bug that is affecting the latest version of Windows 10 on a Toshiba p50ct10q laptop.I have had this issue before, and even on a clean install of windows, this driver bug is still present.I have asked about it here https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/mm46ys/device_manager_keeps_refreshing_trying_to_installI have also got the hardware Id's as it's something to with the USB ports. It's not a hardware problem of any sort as USB sticks and mice work fine, and removing USB sticks and mice doesn't stop the refreshing. These are the hardware Id'sUSBIROOT

  2. Taskbar bug: switching to another window -will not appear at the front

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

    1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
    2. Select or click Ease of Access.
    3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
    4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
    5. Check if issue is resolved.
    Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

    1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
    2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
    3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
    4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
    5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

Device Manager keeps refreshing - due to network adapters

    Hi Timm,

Device Manager refresh tends to happen when a new hardware is plugged in or removed, whether its a flash drive, and/or etc. This also happens when a driver is not working properly in which the Device Manager attempts to refresh to restart the said driver.
Plausible reason is that your Network adapter requires update since all this started right after upgrading to Windows 10. If you haven't done so, you can update it by following the steps below:

    • Go to Device Manager and right click on Network Adapters.
    • On the drop down, click on "Update Driver".
    • Follow the instruction in the Update Driver Software wizard.

Also as an alternative check if this issue persist on Safe Mode. You can go to this link for the steps on how to boot to safe
mode. You can also go to your PC manufacturer website for the latest driver update.

Let us know if you need further assistance.
