Windows 10: Windows 10 latest update causing BSOD at a certain percentage during installation and other...

So I have been trying to install the latest windows update for 2 weeks now with no success. Every time my windows update decides to try and install it by itself or if I try to install it manually using windows update assistant it is the same story every time. At around 71-72% of the installation progress, my BIOS restarts and I get a BSOD. Then it tries one more time, fails and windows proceeds to rollback any changes and reverts windows back to my old version which is 1909. I have tried everything that I have read online including: -using the troubleshooting tool for windows update-rest

Windows Update (BSOD)

Hi Guys.
I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

keep in mind, as of recently, the FCU is installed on 5% of devices roughly.....

That could be it. Just a suggestion, never do any hardware driver updates via Windows update in the future, just download the critical updates and leave it at that. When thats done then install hardware drivers that you got from the manufacturer's site.
