Windows 10 "Left Alt + Shift" language input switch suddenly stop working. It used to work before.

My Windows 10 has 2 language input method, English and Chinese.

I used to use "Left Alt + Shift" to switch between 2 input.

But for some reason, it suddenly stop working.

My default language input is English.

I can still use mouse or "WinKey + Space" to switch between 2 input,

but something strange happen to the Chinese Input, when I switch to Chinese input, everytime I typed one Chinese character, Windows will automatically switch the input method back to English.

The system will not stay in Chinese input method when I try to type Chinese. It'll alway jump back to English input.

I've tried following to resolve this issue, but without success.

• Change different keyboard
• Uninstall any 3th party keyboard driver
• Control Panel\Clock, Language, and Region\Language\Advanced settings -> Change language bar hot keys -> Between input language SET TO "Left Alt + Shift"
• Tried other user acount
• Tried create a new user account
• Tried boot Windows in minimal safe mode
• Tried sfc /scannow

I've 3 Windows systems. All of them are updated to the latest verion 1703 build 15063.332

2 of them are working, only 1 having this issue.

There are a few reasons why "Left Alt + Shift" is suddenly stopped working on your computer. Since you mentioned that you already tried some troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you create a
Test Profile. From there, check if the issue occurs.

To create a user profile, follow these steps:

• Go to Settings. Click Accounts.
• Select Family & other people.
• Select the Add someone else to this PC tab.
• Name the user as Test.
• Leave the password field blank.
• Hit Next.
• Sign in as Test user.

As I mention in my previous post, even though I lost the function of switching input method by "Left Alt + Shift". I can still switch the input method using "WinKey + Space".

The main issue is I'm not able to input Chinese continuously. Every time after I inputed one Chinese character, the system will automatically switch the input method back to English. I've to keep switching the input method back to Chinese to
complete a sentence input. This is very annoying.

I'm not sure is the update causing this issue. Becuase I've 3 machines all updated to the latest Windows 10 creators update and updated to the latest version. Only one machine having this issue. I can still using "Left Alt + Shift" to switch input method on
my other 2 machines.
