Windows 10: Windows 10 license issue

Hi to anyone who reads this. I tried calling the Microsoft line but you wait forever... Ok I have installed and deactivated my Windows 10 pro keys a couple of times on my new build. Now just one day I had issues with my motherboard and could not boot into windows anymore. So my copy of Windows 10 was installed on a M. 2 drive. I send my motherboard in for repair since in was 5 months old. Asus website says it was dead but they has to send it in to check. It was a Asus Z170 Deluxe. Problem is because I could not boot into Windows to deactivate with two commands in command prompt. So a week later I got the Asus Maximus Viii Hero motherboard just while I wait because it can take forever before I get my new Asus Z170 Deluxe motherboard back. After alot of problems I got the Maximum Viii hero to read the m. 2 drive where Windows 10 pro was installed on. It did boot and I did do the deactivation commands in command prompt so reinstall Windows new again. Can't do that since it's a new motherboard... Now I went back to Windows 8. 1 but would like to have Windows 10 back but don't know how to clear my license to new. I have the original installation disk but the key is not excepted. It's not installed on the other computer because I don't think I'll get the old motherboard back but even I do Windows will say that licensing is used on a different computer were its just in its original disk folder. Does this mean I have to go buy a new copy of Windows 10? If that's the case it sucks and this new license shit is not really a good thing since the license you buy only works with one Motherboard and if the motherboard breaks your copy of Windows on a drive or SSD or M. 2 drive won't ever work on a different motherboard if you don't deactivate it in Command prompt. How do I do that when I could to boot into Windows since I was stuck in the American Megatrust menu with no key letting me into the Bios to pick my primary boot path to go in and deactivate Windows in command prompt. Any body that knows what I'm taking about please help

Windows 10: Issues with deleting a particular system file and Administrator Problems.

The issue is quite simple. Ever since migrating to Windows 10, I've been unable to administrate, though I'm supposedly an administrator with "full control." A current example: I've picked up a trojan file in a c:\windows subdirectory. having full control
of the c:\ directory, I should be able to simply delete the bad file. However, I can't do that because I get the following message:

"You require permission from the computer's administrator to make changes to this file." I've tried all the suggestions here and none of them work. This has been an ongoing issue with this OS since I installed it a year ago. Until now, I haven't needed
to "administrate" over this directory, and thought that Microsoft would eventually get around to fixing the problem, especially since there have been so many complaints about it. Apparently, Microsoft can't handle it. BTW, Windows 10 sucks. It's apparently
not built for end users who want to accomplish real work on the computers THEY OWN. Instead it's built for vendors who want to know who you are, where you are and what you're doing, so that they can tailor advertising to you.

 

Won't read SD CARD windows 10

Below is the result of following your Step 1. So my issue of Windows 10 not reading the SD is still not resolved. How come the required driver to allow Windows 10 to read the SD in my computer was not installed during the fix?

First - there is no "deactivation" of the Windows 10 license on a previous computer. The slmgr /upk command that you speak of only removes the product key from the Windows on the local computer and causes the Windows 10 on that computer to enter an unactivated state - it does not remove the digital license for Windows 10 from Microsoft Activation Servers. After running slmgr /upk on a computer, all that is required to re-activate that same computer is to enter the Windows 10 product key - and if the Windows 10 was the result of an upgrade from Windows 7 or 8, the Windows 10 Product Key will be the generic product key that is very easy to find on Google.

Assuming the Windows 8.1 license that you have is a retail version, install that on the new motherboard. If it fails to activate over the internet, then call the activation number given and tell the computer voice it is installed on only one computer. Once Windows 8.1 is activated on that computer, then upgrade to Windows 10. It will most likely still activate over the internet. If it doesn't, then use the Windows 10 activation troubleshooter to move your license, assuming you were signed in on the old computer and on the new computer with the same Microsoft Account and your digital license was linked to your Microsoft Account on the old computer.
