    Windows 10 loaded the following: KB 3172985 and KB 3173428.


    As noted, Windows installed these two updates. Since then Edge has gone from a reasonable download speed to a crawl! I started rooting through looking for problems and came across this:

    Microsoft visual c++ runtime library! This program has requested to shut down in an unusual way. When I do a speed test, I am now getting 6-7 Mbps were as before, I had been getting 66 Mpbs download speed. Also, it seems to have changed my ip addresses. Any thoughts about what's going on. I would be extremely grateful for any help in resolving these issues and getting back to speed on the internet.

    I would like to inform that this error message occurs when you enter the command incorrectly.

    I suggest you to re-enter the correct command from the article and check if it helps.
