Windows 10: Windows 10 - Local account forgot PIN

Hi, I have installed Windows 10 Pro - Version 21H1 - Build 19043.1023 - Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3740.0 I wanna disconnect from my Microsoft Account and I wanna log with my local account. When I try to log in with my local account, Windows 10 ask me a PIN, I tried to insert the PIN that I use normally, but the system tells me thta it's not correct... How I can recover or reset the PIN ? Remember that now I am logged in Windows 10 with my Microsoft Account... Thanks in advance.

Forgot password for the local account.

Hey!

I am using a windows 10 local administrator account on my pc. I login using my pin every time, and hence forgot my password. How do i reset my password?

Please note, it is a local account.

Forgot windows local account password

My account is local account, i used PIN and it was expired and asking to reset password. But i forgot my existing password to reset.

 

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown
