My system disk C has 285GB of data and 180GB are in the user\local\appdata\packages folder. Is it possible to delete or uninstall any of that?Disk cleanup didn't help.Using settings system storage and remove temorary files only removed 20GB from other folders in appdata local.Regards

    Hi Ralph & Barbara,

We suggest that you reset Windows Photo app. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type %appdata%\..\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Photo_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState
    • Delete all the contents of the folder.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

An assumption: It's running under SVCHOST

I googled EDB.log, apparently it used to cause problems and Windows is still searching for it. It seems to tied to Windows Search, which was fairly useless, BTW. Excuses, it's has learning curve, yada yada yada... if Windows users want a learning curve
they would be using GREP or have moved on to Linux.

I am wondering why do you have so many AppData\Local directories, are you trying to confuse yourself or Windows? It's getting so disorganized.

    There's another AppData\Local folder under \ProgramData
