Windows 10: Windows 10 lock screen stuck on Theme Colour

Hi, sometimes when I leave my laptop on “Lock”, I come back after 10 minutes to see the entire screen covered in my Windows 10 theme colour. I am unable to interact with anything on the screen, I am only able to move my mouse around, but it just stays stuck on the theme colour.Ctrl + Alt + Delete refuses

For regular themes, the attributes for that are probably written up in a big, long manifest somewhere.

 

Lock Screen Colour [Win8]

Hi,

So I have Windows 8.. *Big Grin However, ever since I got my 2nd monitor..the Lock screen goes weird. Can somebody Explain this?

The green coloured one is the normal lock screen, the Red one is not...

I'm using AMD/ATi Eyefinity. the problem only occurs if I have both monitors connected and turned on.

Any help is appreciated. *Smile

 

Computer stuck at lock screen and after Anniversary Update on Windows 10

The first suggestion is not helpful since the problem is that we have many open programs stuck behind the lock screen.

I have run into this problem and tried the On-screen keyboard but it does not help.

An additional data point is that it does not matter what password is entered.

Enter correct password -> spinner shows up, after about 30 seconds the spinner goes away and the screen remains locked.

Enter blank password (simply hit Enter) -> same behaviour as above.

The behaviour is the same whether using physical or On-screen keyboards.
