    My Windows10 PC has a 256GB SSD system drive and a 1TB SSD data drive. The computer locks up for several seconds every minute. The pause is due to some confusion between the system drive and the data drive. Is there some way to fix this?Documents, Pictures, Downloads, etc are mapped to data drive.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Hello Tony,

    It is possible that the issue you're experiencing with your hard disks might be due to a hardware misconfiguration. It would be great if you can tell us more about your concern. Please answer the following questions:

    • Have you tried reinstalling the 4TB hard disk to Windows?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Is the hard disk configured as Stripped or Spanned?
    • How are your data drive configured prior to acquiring the 4TB hard disk? You can check this information through your Intel Rapid Storage Manager.
    • Can you also provide us a screenshot where it was indicated that the data drive is locked? You can refer to this
