Windows 10: windows 10 locking up

Discus and support windows 10 locking up in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; i have windows 10 on a computer it loads on to the password screen and i am unable to put in the password it is just frozen i down loaded the media...     i have windows 10 on a computer it loads on to the password screen and i am unable to put in the password it is just frozen i down loaded the media files to repair it but when i use "chkdsk /f " it says cannot lock current drive the type of the file system is NTFS it says cannot run repair on this disc because it is write protected
