Windows 10: windows 10 locking up

i have windows 10 on a computer it loads on to the password screen and i am unable to put in the password it is just frozen i down loaded the media files to repair it but when i use "chkdsk /f " it says cannot lock current drive the type of the file system is NTFS it says cannot run repair on this disc because it is write protected

No Lock screen in Windows 10.

• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.
