Windows 10: Windows 10 locks screen while in use - Dell - FIX

There's a thread with this title already but it is closed and no real answer was provided. I found that if you have a Dell you may have a proximity sensor and with that there is a service in the Dell Optimizer app called "Presence Detection"CLick on that and then disable presence detection by going clicking on the "Enabled" slider so that it then shows "Disabled"If you don't have a Dell but have a different laptop, check to see if your laptop model comes with a proximity sensor. No Lock screen in Windows 10.

• When you say that "rolling slideshow ", what exactly are you referring to?
• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen option as Windows Spotlight and check if it helps.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select Windows Spotlight from the list.
