Windows 10: Windows 10 login help

Hey guys,

Hope somebody can help me with this.

Randomly for some reason my password with my local Account has stopped being accepted. I can’t get passed the Initial login screen. I did have a slight issue where I had to put the password in 4 or 5 times before it would recognise it but thought I was mistyping...now nothing.

I’ve tried safe mood booting, virtual keyboard. Alternate keyboards, typing carefully etc and anything else I’ve been recommend to try requires me to log in which I can’t do. I don’t believe there was any updates the last time I went on it.

So 2 questions

1 any ideas to try? 2 is it possible I’ve been hacked and they’ve changed the password?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Cannot login to windows 10 after update! PLEASE HELP!

Thank you for the advice on enabling the administrator account. I follow all the steps and enabled the administrator account but I am still unable to log in. I am attaching 2 photos of the screens I am able to see at boot up.




I have no way to choose which account to log in with.
Any other ideas or suggestion?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
