Windows 10: Windows 10 Logon issue 0x80090011

Dear All, After an update of the anti-virus program ESET Nod 32, I don't recall version number I was prompted to restart the PC. After the restart, I cannot logon to Windows anymore. I am using Windows 10 Home. For all 3 accounts existing, when PIN is entered, an error 0x80090011 is displayed - "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available. Click to set up your PIN again". However, setting the PIN does not work, Windows offers me to go and search for some App in internet but that does not happen.Practically, I am locked out of the computer.I tried restarting while holding Shift -> Tr

Family Member cannot logon to Windows 10

There are different causes that may bring up this error on your computer. To guide you better in resolving the issue, please answer the following questions:

• Is the administrator account the one having the error?
• Did this happen after installing updates?
• What suggestions have you tried?

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
